HGT represented by HG Technologies (SA) are engaged in on-going discussions with the Malawi government regarding major infrastructure projects.

If these projects are agreed upon, they will be fully financed by HGT and Partners to the estimated value of approximately $12.7bn, the anticipated start date for the projects is early 2021. The planned projects include:- • Stabilization of Malawi Energy Grid • Green Belt Irrigation (500,000 hectares) Agriculture Investment Zones, Promotion of Blue Economy, Short Cycle Breeding etc. • Tourism Infrastructure (10 km Cable Cars on Mount Mulanje, World Class Hotels and Roads, including Zomba Mountain, Vipya plateau and Likoma Island). • Rehabilitation of Malawi Airports, including New Kamuzu International Airport, Chileka and Mangochi Lake Shore District new Airport development. • Implementation of Malawi Development Bank( MDB) • Manufacturing & Assembling plant in Mzunzu and Lilongwe. • Health & Educational facilities: Upgrade of Mitundu Clinic to a modern 300 bed Hospital, • Educational & training centers and implementation of foundation ICT schools. • Renaissance of Railway activities: Salima –Tunduma, Limbe – Beira, including Hyperloop Trains. • Road infrastructures, including High Way Road from Karonga to Chitipa • Upgrade of Kasungu
