HGTs $400m Zambia projects

  • PLATINUM MINE - HGT have been in negotiations with the the government of Zambia to obtain mining licences for one of the largest platinum deposits ever found on the continent. There are also zinc, silver and gold deposits within the same area.

  • Development of a new town near the mine is important to house the workers.
  • A 50MWe Thermal power station will be situated near the town.
  • 10,000 Ha Medicinal cannabis plantation and processing plant.
  • All infrastructure for an operational town, such as:- roads, sewers, water, houses, utilities, services and shopping and entertainment will be provided. Together with a small functional airport

These projects will be fully financed by HGT and partners and discussions will re-open in early 2021.

Power generation Projects

Undisclosed Location - Zambia

HGT will be constructing a 50 Megawatt power station near the proposed mining site. This power station will operate on fossil fuel mined locally, . The proposed 'Green' power station operates with almost zero harmful emmissions. The mine and power station will provide additional employemnt in the area. The power generated will be sufficient to supply the platinum mine the coal mine the cannabis processing plant and the new town.

New Town

Undisclosed Location - Zambia.

A new town is planned to be built in the same area as the mining operation in order to house the workers at the mine.

Medicinal Cannabis Plantation

Undisclosed Location - Zambia

Funding will be provided for a 10,000 hectare plantation of Industrial Hemp for the production of CBD, CBG & CBN oils and isolates. The plantation & processing plant will be located on the outskirts of the town. The mine and agriculture will provide much needed employment in the area. This will be needed for the long term sustainaboility of the town..

Platinum Mine

HGT have obtained a mining licence to open a platinum mine, with one of the richest deposits of platinum ever found in Africa.

New Town & Airport

HGT will construct a new town for the workers with a shopping areas with all facilities that will be needed such as schools, hospitals and banks. A small airport will be located near the town.

Entertainment

Space will be allocated for religious buildings and entertainment facilities and open areas such as recreational areas and parks.

Services

Hospitals Fire stations police stations and all other essential services must be provided for.

Utilities

Water and water treatment, Sewers, and power, must all be taken into consideration during construction.

Road infrastructure

Roads will be constructed to connect the new town with the rest of the country.
